DMCA Copyright Policy

Effective: August 4, 2026

RodyWorks Web Hosting respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA").

1. Filing an Infringement Notice

If you believe content hosted on our network infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent containing all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location (specific URL(s)) sufficient for us to locate it;
  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Designated Agent

3. Our Response

On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material promptly and notify the affected customer with a copy of the notice.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe material you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was mistaken; your name, address, and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., the Central District of California) and acceptance of service from the complainant; and your signature. If the complainant does not notify us within 10-14 business days that it has filed a court action, we may restore the material.

5. Repeat Infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, customers who are repeat infringers.

6. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
